This is a blog about organization, productivity, and development. So why on earth am I talking about Creativity - and for an entire MONTH?
Part of the secret of being organized is being creative. Every situation is different, as is every person. Much like perfume, what functions one way for someone won't necessarily work the same for another.
This key principle appears in a lot of personal and professional situations:
- Creativity helps make the best of a cubicle, where space is at a premium and design is nonexistent.
- Creativity is useful when managing time, particularly when you have a lot to do but not a lot of time to do it in.
- Creativity provides motivation when completing mundane, mind-numbing tasks.
A lot of people say they aren't creative. That's simply not true. You may not be a writer or an artist; your stick figures might look like a dog drew them. But if you can think outside the box, which is what creativity is, then that's all you need.
